Elegant Strikers Register First Win of Season Against Sultan Warriors at Wular Cricket League
Srinagar, April 26: Elegant Strikers secured their first victory of the season by defeating Sultan Warriors Summerbugh by 45 runs in the ongoing second edition of the Wular Cricket League on Friday.
Batting first, Elegant Strikers posted a formidable total of 228 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Sultan Warriors fell short by 45 runs. Umer Nisaar starred with the bat, scoring a brilliant 59 runs and was named Man of the Match. Nazir Tiger, who picked up two crucial wickets, was declared the Game Changer for his impactful performance.
All players from Elegant Strikers contributed significantly with outstanding batting, bowling, and fielding, showcasing excellent sportsmanship and team spirit.
The playing eleven included Umer Nisaar, Danish Hilal, Ahmed Bandey, Yawer Bilal, Manzoor Pandow, Amir Sofi, Momin Aziz, Imtiyaz Inni, Umair, Owais Shah, and Nazir Tiger.
Under the captaincy of Ahmed Bandey, the team displayed a disciplined and energetic performance that helped secure the win.
