19th September, In a meeting held today at Polo ground In which various office bearers and stakeholders of football, General Secretary & Custodian of J&K Football Association Prof B.A. Malik officially appointed Mr. Wasim Aslam as the Chairman of J&K Football Association in order to conduct the elections of all DFA’s Of J&K U.T and to overlook the daily activities of the J&K FA. Mr. Wasim Aslam is a prominent sports promoter and has played a pivotal role in the recently held Srinagar football elections.
The meeting was attended by many sports promoters and representatives of most of the associate clubs.
Also in the meeting, the recently elected office bearers of Srinagar Football Association, President DFA Sgr Mr. Bashir Malik, Secretary DFA Sgr Mr. Showkat Masoodi and Treasurer DFA Sgr Mr. Zahoor Teli were all felicitated by Professor Bashir Ahmad Shah and Chairman Wasim Aslam JKFA as they took charge of the office formally today.
