A meeting regarding preparation and arrangements of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahatsov Har Ghar Tiranga was today held under the Chairmanship of Commissioner SMC Mr Athar Amir Khan.
During the course of meeting a detailed action plan was disscusssed and formulated to celebrate the upcoming Independence day _ Har Ghar Tiranga Initative under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Directions were passed to organise cleanliness drives across the city under Swachta Abiyan in various areas including Pari Mahal all with roads leading to Pari Mahal, Budsha tomb Zaina Kadal, Burzuhama Archeological site, Nishat Garden, Pathar Masjid,Hari Parbat Kohimaran, Sangeen Darwaza etc.
Zonal Sanitation Officers in collaboration with their sanitation staff of wards will aware the citizens of their wards/ zones with regard to Har Ghar Tiranga under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahatsav.
Besides this The Anti Polythene wing of SMC under the supervision of Anti Polythene Officer shall aware the commercial establishments to eradicate single use plastic and Polythene.
Many cultural events will also be organised and social media campaigns to create awareness about ban on single use plastic and Har Ghar Tiranga initiative under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav .
The meeting was attended by all Joint Commissioners, FA / CAO, Secretary SMC, S.E Drainage, all senior Officers of SMC, Ward Officers, Zonal Sanitation Officers, Sanitation officers and others attended the meeting.
