The CEO Srinagar Smart City limited/ Commissioner SMC Mr Athar Amir Khan took a detailed review of the projects under execution by Srinagar smart City, after having a site visit to various project sites including Upgradation of River-front from Zero Bridge to Amira, Development of Pedestrian walkway and cycke track at Tchount khul Dalgate, Construction of undergoing utility ducts and development of Residency Road.
He also visited Nishat to review the project of upgradation and redevelopment of Nishat Sathu from Nishat upto Doldum and Lakefront Development of Foreshore Road and other projects.
Mr Athar emphasised the need to expedite the completion of the projects in a compressed timeframe for which the contractor shall have to work at least in two shifts daily.
Mr Athar also directed to ensure that quality standards are adhered to and the works shall bear the stamp of quality and meticulous planning that has gone into conceiving the projects.
The C.E.O was accompanied by officers of SSCL ,SMC and LCMA.
He directed that that these site visits will be a regular feature of the project implementation for on spot assesment with regard to the projects in execution.
