7th BN SSB Organised Cutting and Tailoring Course at Khellani

Doda,CNS,21-July; Sashastra Seema Bal, 07 Battalion organised Civic Action Programmes at Khellani, Doda. Raj Kumar, SP (Ops)Doda was Chief Guest on the occasion.
Arpan singh principal of happy home school also graced the occasion. The event was thronged by School students and Villagers. Programme started with a brief on Sashastra Seema Bal and how the organisation is pursuing its motto of Seva, Suraksha and Bandhutva.
Afterwards Sewing machines and tailoring Kits were distributed among 30 women who had undergone 15 days of training on Cutting and Stitching organised by 7th Battalion SSB at Gandoh,Bhatyas and Khellani, which was organised by SSB in affiliation with District social welfare department,Union Territory (J&K).The event concluded with distribution of Certificates and Silai Machines to participants.
Speaking on the occasion Shiv Dayal, Commandant, 7th Bn SSB acquaint present people about the motto of the organisation i.e Service, Security and Brotherhood. He extended gratitude to Villagers, Youths and School authorities for active participation in Civic action programmes carried out for the welfare and socio-economic upliftment of the remote villagers.
Raj Kumar, SP(Ops), Doda appreciated and applauded the efforts taken by the SSB for the welfare of the general Masses in Doda region. Vikas Kumar Singh,second in command and Pawan Kumar, AC were also present in the event.(CNS)
