World Nurses dat celebrated at SDH Habak
Srinagar, CNS, 12-May:International Nurses Day was celebrated today at Block Hazratbal Dept Of SPM GMC Srinagar, at SDH Habak.
The event was organised by BLock Medical Officer Hazaratbal Dr Fara Shafi.
On the occasion the nurses demonstrated a life like dramatic picture of the times when Florence Nightingale was nursing the war soldiers making the audience emotional.She was an English nurse, social reformer, and statistician born on May 12 in 1820. Given her immense dedication and contribution to the health sector, her birth anniversary is celebrated as International Nurses Day all over the world.
Later on certificates of appreciation were distributed amongst the most Dedicated, Humble, Caring,Upcoming and popular Nurse of the block. Their work was applauded and standing ovation with given to all the nurses specially for their work in COVID pandemic.(CNS)
