ADGP Headquarters PHQ flags off Bharat Darshan Tour-2022
BUDGAM, May 18 2022: ADGP Headquarters J&K Police, Shri M.K Sinha-IPS flagged off Bharat Darshan Tour comprising of 65 youths of Budgam. An impressive flag-off ceremony was organised at Police Headquarters Srinagar that was attended by senior police officers including DIG CKR Shri Sujit Kumar (IPS), AIG Welfare Shri Rajinder Kumar Gupta, SSP Budgam Shri Tahir Saleem Khan and AIG Communication Shri Manoj Pandita. The tour has been organised by Jammu and Kashmir Police Budgam, under Civic Action Programme (CAP).
While interacting with the selected youth who belong to different parts of district Budgam, ADGP Headquarters wished them a happy and safe journey and advised them to avail the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places and the modern marvels of India. DIG CKR advised the students to meet people and see how beautiful and diverse our country is.
During the five-day tour, the groups would visit cities of Mumbai and New Delhi. In Mumbai, the groups are scheduled to visit famous tourist spots and monuments including the Gateway of India, The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus train station, Juhu Beach, Rajabhai Tower, ITI Mumbai , Jain Temple. The groups would also visit the Prince of Wales Museum.
Similarly in Delhi, the groups would have a city tour including visits to different historical sites, monuments and parks like Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Parliament House, Hon’ble Supreme Court, Lotus Temple, India Gate and Martyrs Memorial.
The special part of the tour is the entire trip will be covered by air. AC hotels and AC coaches will be provided to the touring groups for accommodation and sightseeing. All the candidates have also been given a kit that contains a customised tracksuit, a pair of shoes and socks, a cap and a carry bag.
