On Baisakhi Eve, BJP leader Altaf Thakur visits Tral Gurduwaras; celebrates Baisakhi with Sikh members
Meets Sikh community members at Diwar and Nanar; says BJP committee to uphold communal harmony of UT, Sikhs part and parcel of Kashmir’s culture
Srinagar, April 13: On the occasion of Baisakhi festival, Bhartiya Janata Party JK spokesman Altaf Thakur today visited several areas of Tral especially Diwar and Nanar to offer greetings to the members of Sikh community at their respective Gurduwaras.
While interacting with the members of Sikh community at Diwar and Nanar, Thakur said that Sikh brothers are important part and parcel of Kashmir’s composite culture and age old communal harmony. The BJP leader said that Baisakhi festival marks the arrival of spring season in Kashmir and on this eve, we collectively pray for the peace and prosperity of Kashmir. Thakur said reaching out to Sikh community of Tral is part of Prime Minister Narendera Modi ji’s vision and slogan “sab ka saath sab ka vishwas” and under this slogan BJP is committed to welfare of every segment of the society irrespective of cast, creed and colour. Thakur said that BJP is committed to welfare and protection of every religious place across the UT. Thakur also participated the special prayers along with the members of Sikh community at Diwar and Nanar Gurduwaras.
