Progress under Swatch Bharat Abhiyan reviewed at Baramulla
Baramulla, March 22, CNS: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Bhupinder Kumar today chaired a meeting of concerned officers in Dak Bungalow in order to take a review of the progress made under Swatch Bharat Abhiyan across the district.
During the meeting, the DC took a detailed review regarding the overall sanitation programme and solid waste management in the district.
With regard to Open Defecation Free initiative under Swatch Bharat Abhiyan , the DC was appraised that more than 1.6 Lakh rural households across Baramulla district have been provided toilets. The DC directed the concerned officers for completion of second level third party verification of ODF under Swatch Bharat Mission till 31st March 2022 by mobilising the service of departmental manpower.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Parvaiz Sajad, Programme Officer ICDS Baramulla, Mohammad Asadullah, Chief Education Officer Baramulla G.M Lone, Chief Medical Officer Baramulla Bashir Ahmad Malik, Assistant Commissioner Development Yaar Ali Khan, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Gulzar Ahmad Khan besides other District and sectoral officers were present in the meeting.(CNS)
