JK Tourism Shines in OTM Travel Show in Mumbai
Srinagar: The JK Tourism and all stakeholders were participating in OTM Travel exhibition every year in Mumbai. But after 2020 Covid pandemic such Tourusm Exhibitions had been cancelled or postponed. The Tourism was hit hard globally in general and in Jammu and Kashmir particularly.
The people relying on Tourism in J & K suffered a heavy losses. Now after 2 years once again OTM, Tourism Show in Mumbai was organized on 14th, 15th and 16th March 2022. The JK Tourism give fruitful platform to its stakeholders and after 2 years this show was grand successful because not only the Travel agents from Maharashtra but from other states visited
The Travel agents, Hoteliers and Houseboat owners from valley which boosted their business. It is after 3 Decades that Kashmir was sold out from February 2022. This all is not less than Miracle and the Credit goes to Secretary Tourism, Jenab Sarmand Hafiz sahab, Director Tourism, Jenab Dr. G.N. Itoo sahab, Assistant Secretary Tourism, Jenab Waseem Raja Sahab and the rest of their team members who put all their efforts in organising festivals, Events, Road shows in different states and left no stone unturned in promoting J & K on war footing since last 6 months.
At J & K Tourism a heavy crowd of Travel agents and local public was witnessed for 3 days during the show. Apart of this the Director Tourism, Jenab Dr. G.N . Itoo sahab interjected with Travel Agents from different states of country and gave an emotional speech during the interection session. Director Tourism said in his speech that all records will break in 2022 year and J & K will witness huge Tourism traffic this year. The J & K tourism department bags best award at OTM Mumbai 2022.
