Indian Army organised Tangdhar Volleyball Tournament.
Karnah 17, March Waseem Baba CNS: To inculcate sportsmanship and to provide budding volleyball players of the Tangdhar Valley a platform an Inter School Volleyball Tournament was organised by the Indian Army in collaboration with youth Services and Sports, Tangdhar zone from 16 Mar 22 to 17 Mar 22.
The tournament started on 16 Mar 22 in which a total of six teams from different schools of Tangdhar locked their horns.
All the matches were thrilling and action-packed. Especially the final that was played between Higher Secondary School, Kandi and Higher Secondary School, Naichiyan which was organised on 17 Mar 22 in the evening. It was a very close match but higher secondary school, Naichian got the glory. Medals were given to the winning team, runners up
, best spiker and booster by the dignitaries, and the champions trophy was given to the winning team by ex- MLA Raja Manzoor. Each participant got a participation certificate.
The tournament was widely appreciated by the locals and school students as they were waiting for such an opportunity to showcase their skills. They expressed their gratitude for organising this event.(CNS)
