Two vehicle lifters arrested in Srinagar
4 Stolen Vehicles recovered
Srinagar; CNS,17-Feb; Police in Srinagar arrested two vehicle lifters and recovered four stolen vehicles from them.
As per police, Acting upon a reliable information that some persons are involved in vehicle theft, on 16-02-2022, Srinagar police arrested two accused persons ( car lifters) identified as Sahir Amin Dar resident of Kursoo, Rajbagh( Thag) and Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar resident ofAqal Mir, Khanyar in two different cases under sections of vehicle theft, forgery and cheating.
Two cars and Two bikes have also been recovered from the accused persons.
Meanwhile, Police have requested General public again to install High security number plates in vehicles to avoid possibility of such thefts.(CNS)
