Three Days International Multilingual Poets’ Meet program was organized by Kavya Kaumudi International Multilingual Poets’ Group and this program was sponsored by INKDEW PUBLICATION. We are very much grateful to the Founder of INKDEW PUBLICATION Dr Manoj Kishore Nayak , a trilingual poet from Odisha. The Poets Meet Program was successfully ended on a high note and with best wishes.
This program aims to organize monthly International Multilingual Poets’ meet and workshops to promote and create greater awareness about Indian and foreign languages across the world.
Kavya Kaumudi is an international multilingual poets’ group that endeavors to create a platform/forum for free exchange of thoughts by way of poetry in the language that each of us represents. The organization believes that such healthy discussions and exchange of poetry in various languages will foster multiculturism and mutual respect for each other’s language and poetry.
Kaavya Kaumudi international multilingual poets’ group is a proud family of more than 500 National and International poets representing 39 Indian and more than 27 foreign languages currently. The president who is a multilingual poet, a college lecturer, writer and researcher in 14 languages expressed her gratitude and happiness about this program and said that, our world is a treasure trove of languages and multilingual poetry meets is probably the best way to decipher the language of heart, emotions, culture .
The Chief Advisor of Kavya Kaumudi Group Tagline Alapati , who himself is a Poet , translater and motivational speaker , knows 8 languages said that there are more than 20, 000 languages in the world .Some languages have been lost and some are going to die in near future.Each language has its own beauty , own rhythm and melody .
We are trying to add all languages to this forum .
Recently we have released our first Magazine – Kavya Kaumudi – which is quarterly magazine.
We are going to publish our Anthology very soon
We had organized Lit contest where many poets participated .There were more than 50 languages.
We are very much fortunate that our Poetry meet program was inaugurated by Sri S P Mahalingeshwar ji on February 18th 2022 , who is a Regional Secretary, Southern Regional Office , Kendra Sahitya Academy , Bangalore .
There were five Sessions and Multilingual program started with prayer rendered by renowned karnatak music expert Sri Uday Sree ji , Sarada Sai , Ramani , Dr Deepika and Lakshmi Gayatri .
