Market Checking intensified in Kangan
Ganderbal 25th Feb:CNS On the eve of Mehraj -ul-Alum during which Market checking was conducted today in Kangan and other areas of the Tehsil.
A joint team of Food Safety & FCS CA department headed by Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Food Safety Officer Kangan on the directions of District Administration Ganderbal today conducted extensive market checking of Kangan, Mammer & Hariganwan .
Rotten fruits & vegetables were destroyed on Spot and also Rs. 1100/= fine was recoverd from errin traders.
It is pertinent to mention here that Food Business Operators in general & Mutton & Chicken sellers in Particular were directed to maintain high standard of hygiene in their Premises under schedule 4 of Food Safety & Standards Act-2006 & adhere the Govt. approved rates in letter & Spirit.CNS
