Crime /Security review meeting at District Police Headquarters Budgam.
Budgam 10 Feb, CNS: To review the security scenario in district Budgam, SSP Budgam Shri Tahir Saleem-JKPS chaired a security review meeting today with all SDPOs, SHOs and Chowki officers at District Police Headquarters Budgam. During the meeting, Law and Order Scenario, Follow up of previous meeting and various security measures were discussed for ensuring peace and stability in the district.
During meeting, aspects of policing including Investigation of cases, prosecution, Crime/Complaints disposal and other issues related to accountable policing were discussed.
The meeting was also attended by Addl.SP Budgam Shri Gowhar Ahmad-JKPS and DySP Headquarters Budgam Shri Naeem Wani-JKPS and Dy. SP DAR DPL Budgam Shri Owaise Rashid-JKPS
According to CNS Addressing the meeting, SSP Budgam reiterated the importance of maintaining close synergy between the Police and other agencies to meet the security challenges.
He urged upon the officers to strengthen the general security grid of their respective areas of responsibility besides taking stringent action against those involved in anti national activities. Besides, the officers were urged to make all possible efforts in fight against menace of drugs and work dedicatedly to prevent social crimes & cyber crimes .
Meanwhile all officers
were instructed to adopt a public-centric approach and to ensure redressal of their grievances.(CNS)
