Police holds meeting with retired Police Officers in Kulgam
October12: In order to review the welfare measures and redress the grievances of retirees, Police in Kulgam held a meeting with Police Retired Officers Association (Non-Gazetted) at District Police Lines Kulgam.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Kulgam Dr. G.V Sundeep Chakravarty-IPS in which several retired police officers (Non-Gazetted) participated. During the meeting, participants raised several issues. SSP Kulgam listened the grievances patiently and assured them that their issues will be taken up with higher ups and will be resolved on priority basis. He further added that welfare of our retired persons as well as their family members always remains our top priority. He also added that various measures are taken by the Police department for the welfare of retired police personnel and their wards.
On the occasion, the participants were welcomed by SSP Kulgam and thanked them for sparing their valuable time to attend the meeting. He assured them that Police are always at their disposal and to address their grievances.
