NIA carries out raid at multiple places in Kashmir
Srinagar, CNS, 20-Oct: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted raids in Baramulla, Srinagar and multiple other locations in Jammu and Kashmir.
The NIA raided the residences of Rashid Bhat, Fahad Ali Wani in Hamdaniya Colony, Chanpora, and Furkan Imran Akhan in Government Housing Colony in Bagh-e-Mehtab.
The raids are part of NIA’s attempt to crack down on terror networks and overground workers (OGWs) of terror outfits. Nearly a dozen people have been taken by the NIA.
Sources told CNS that currently raids are underway at eleven locations in Kashmir four in Srinagar, 02 in Baramulla, 01 each in Pulwama, Sopore and Kulgam and 02 in Awantipora.
Last week, the agency raided 16 locations across Jammu and Kashmir and other major cities, including Parimpora, Chattabal, Chanapora, Solina, and Chattabal.(CNS)
