Newspaper office gutted in Rajbagh fire incident
Srinagar,CNS,27-Jan: Fire broke out in a hotel housing several private offices including a newspaper in the posh Raj Bagh area causing damage to the property worth lakhs in Srinagar on Thursday.
Fire and emergency office said that fire broke out in the upper floor of hotel “Aashiyana” and then spread to several private offices including a local Urdu newspaper ‘’Daily Srinagar Mail”.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot who managed to douse the fire and brought it under control.
The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained, they said and added no one was injured in the incident.(CNS)
