The weekend lockdown which has been imposed by the administration, the reason for which they’re giving is the increasing cases of COVID19. Yes, cases are increasing but we’ve to see the daily score, for e.g if the daily cases are 5000 we’ve to see how many of them are sick ,hospitalized, on CPAP, on bipap, on ventilator, on high oxygen flow.
If we get the number of above mentioned cases, along with the total number of cases that you’re providing, it’d be easier to assess the situation whether the lock down is necessary to impose or not. As per our information the number of cases that the administration is providing, of those maximum people recover by isolating themselves at home.
For that we don’t think the lockdown is necessary because it’s diminishing our economy and trade . For this purpose we met DC Srinagar recently, he assured that he’ll talk to higher authorities and will try to lift this weekend lock down. So, we request District Administration and Divisional administration to please lift this weekend and lockdown so that the trade and economy of our state can be restored.
