ADGP Armed J& K decorates B.K Ganjoo with SP ranks
Jammu, CNS, 25- Jan: ADGP Armed J&K Shri S.J.M Gillani-IPS joined by his Staff Officer Shri Mahmood Ahmad-JKPS SSP decorated Shri Bushan Kumar Ganjoo with the rank of SP today at Armed Police Headquarters J& K Jammu. Shri Bushan Kumar Ganjoo a resident of village Ikhala of District Kishtwar, after completion of Master’s Degree in Geography from University of Kashmir joined Jammu& Kashmir Police as Sub-Inspector in the year 1990.
By dint of his hard work and excellent consistent performance in all the significant assignments assigned to him from time to time by the department, he was promoted to the rank of Inspector in the year 1999 and subsequently promoted as Dy.SP in 2009.
During his service in the Police organization, he remained posted on significant and sensitive assignments which include his postings in Crime Branch, Vigilance Organization, DySP Traffic Banihal, SDPO Gundoh besides his postings in various sensitive Police Stations of Jammu province in the capacity of Station House Officer. Presently posted as Staff Officer to DIG Armed Jammu Mr. B.K Ganjoo on his promotion as Superintendent of Police has been transferred and posted to IRP-16 th Bn. Ramban as Dy.Commandant of the Unit.
ADGP Armed and senior officers of Armed Police Headquarters J& K, Zonal Armed Police Headquarters Jammu & Armed Range Office Jammu extended their warm greetings to Shri B.K Ganjoo on his promotion and wished him blossoming career in the organization in future as well.(CNS)
