“Public transport disappears here after 5 pm, causing trouble for the people. The administration must look into this issue because not everyone has their own car,” a group of students from Central university said.

They added that public transport is not often available in the evening hours and they have seen how anxious people are here during that time.

Meanwhile, Assistant Regional Transport Officer Ganderbal Basharat Mahmood, told CNS that he will look into the matter at an earliest.

“It is their genuine demand and hopefully in the coming days transport will operate in the evening hours in the district for the convenience of public”,he added.(CNS)
