Blaze Renders 9 Families Homeless in Kulgam

Kulgam Dec 19 (GNS): A residential house, housing nine families, was gutted in a blaze which broke on Sunday evening in Dudkuchan DK Marg in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Reports reaching GNS said that the fire broke out this evening and soon spread to take the whole structure in its grip.
Even as Fire and Emergency Department assisted by police and locals launched a rescue operation, the fire however caused extensive damage to the structure, rendering nine families homeless.
A police official confirming the incident to GNS said that they have taken cognizance into the matter. (GNS)
