ACB traps Pathwari Halqa Hari Ganwan Gund Ganderbal for accepting bribe
Srinagar, CNS, 03 Nov, : Anti Corruption Bureau received a complaint that Showkat Ahmad Lone, Patwari, Halqa Hari Ganwan, Gund, Ganderbal is demanding Rs. 2000/- as bribe for affecting the Inheritance Mutation (Warasati Intiqal) of land in favour of the complainant.
Source from ACB told CNS that On receipt of the complaint Case FIR No. 33/2021 U/S 7 PC Act 1988 was registered in Police Station ACB Srinagar and investigation taken up.
During the course of investigation, a trap team was constituted. The trap team laid a successful trap and caught red-handed Showkat Ahmad Lone, Patwari Halqa Hari Ganwan Gund, Ganderbal while demanding and accepting the bribe money from the complainant. He was arrested and taken into custody by ACB Team.
Further investigation into the case is going on.(CNS)
