Two days District Srinagar Athletic Championship 2021 concluded

Two days Srinagar District Athletics Championship 2021concluded on Saturday at Sports Stadium Gindum which was organised by Srinagar District Athletic Association under the aegis of J&K Amateur Athletics Association. Around 400 athletes took part in this competition under different age groups of both boys and girls. The competition for six events was conducted including one field event of Shot Put under the guidance of technical penal.
Sports Officer Central, J&K Sports Council Nusrat Gazala was chief guest on the occasion while as Senior Most Athelectic Coach of Kashmir, Mr.Azaz Shah was guest of honour.
The chief guest and guest of honour distributed the medals and trophies among the players.
Speaking on the occasion Ms.Nusrat Gazala Sports officer praised the association for conducting atheletic competition as large number of youth get involved with the sports and remain fit mentally as well as physically. She also thanked parents as they play an important role in supporting their children for taking part in sports activity.
On this event Guest Of Honour Mr.Azad Sahib said “There is need to provide top-level facilities to our atheletes and association that conduct such events.
