Sopore Police held PCPG meeting today at Police Station Sopore.

Sopore, 16 April , CNS: A Public Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held today by Sopore police at Police Station Sopore.

According Tto CNS the meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Sopore Insp. Khalid Fayaz and was attended by Transport Union, Traders Federation, Auqaf Committees and Civil Society of Sopore.

During the meeting, various issues were raised by the participants and were assured issues pertaining to police will be resolved on priority. Chairing officer sought cooperation of people in eradicating the social evils prevailing in the society particularly menace of drugs. He also advised the participants to install CCTV cameras at all the commercial establishments/Units. A meeting with Sarpanchs and Panchs was also organized regarding security and other aspects.

Similarly, one more PCPG meeting was held at village Check Shutloo Rafiabad which was chaired by SHO Police Station Panzla Insp. Muhammad Ashraf and was attended by various representatives and respectables of the area. Participants were advised to maintain communal harmony among the society, participants assured of keeping peace and harmony in the area.

The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.(CNS)
