The representation reads that the commission had visited for verification of the said habitation to ascertain the factual position regarding continuation of backward status of the habitation Khahgund which enjoys the same status from the last so many decades , by the committee constituted vide Govt . Order No 25 – JK ( SWD ) of 2021 Dated 17-02-2021.

“The habitation of Bumnoo consisting of about 120 Cholas is part and parcel of the main habitation Khahagund which has since been declared as RBA area , being part of the same Halqa having common Sarpanch , Panchayat Gar common Block common and even Poling both common .

At the time of the above described visit of the committee while two third population has been duly and properly included in the area of backward but unfortunately the remaining some households have been left out without any justification or cause”,it reads .

“It seems that the said mistake has been done due to some oversight or unintentionally but the left out households have been put to mental trauma and to face hardships while the Milkayati Agricultural lands of the habitation have been included in the RBA area but a portion of main habitation has been left out “,it reads.

It further states that the habitants are in a fix and fail to understand as what criteria has been adopted while left out the remaining households as some Khasra Nos have been missing in between such as Khasra No 609 is missing while 600,606,607 same is the case with other Khasra Nos of the same habitation .

The representation further reads that the action of the concerned revenue agency has put the left out households into a great trouble which if not rectified at an earliest, they will face and irreparable loss which cannot be compensated later on as the habitation has been divided into two parts, while two third has been included in the RBA area and remaining has been left out which is total injustice and against the law of the land and equality as the whole habitation is one and same.

Meanwhile, the inhabitants are seeking a spot visit by the commission that will bring the facts of their submissions to fore and will prove the correctness of the representation beyond any doubt.

“it is humbly requested to kindly consider our request on priority basis and direct the concerned to do the needful by including the remaining households of habitation Bumnoo into the RBA area alongside with the already declared households”,they urged.(CNS)
