Fire damages two residential houses in Sonwar

Srinagar, CNS, 23-Feb: Two residential houses were damaged in a fire incident at Palpora Sonwar area of Srinagar during the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday.

Official sources told CNS that fire broke out from the residential house and soon engulfed the surrounding house during which two structures were completely damaged. The owners of the houses were identified asnamely Mohammad Farooq Parray, Farooq Ahmad Parray and Bilal Ahmad Parray.

They said that the fire was controlled by F&ES department with the help of locals and there was no loss of life or injury to any in the incident.

Meanwhile, local police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been initiated. Locals urged administration to provide immediate assistance to the affected families on priority basis. (CNS)
