GANDERBAL POLICE ARRESTED 02 MORE DRUG PEDDLERS IN A SINGLE DAY

GANDERBAL, 1ST FEBRUARY 2022 To eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Ganderbal Police arrested 02 more drug peddlers in consecutive attempt on a single day. Today, Police Party of Police Post Shadipora led by DO Shadipora laid a naka at Takanwari Gundiroshan road, during checking police party intercepted Hyundai i10 bearing Regd. No. DL7CM 9184 coming from Takanwari side towards Dab wakoora in which two persons on board were found carrying contraband substance.

During interrogation, the accused disclosed their identity as:
Syed Hussain Shah @Ulfi S/O Syed Ashiq R/O Dab Wakoora and Javid Ah Malik S/O Mohd Shafi R/O Panzinara Srinagar. On questioning, it came to surface that both the accused were carrying contraband substance Sposmo Proxivan Plus (168 Capsules) Sapscore Von Plus( 144 Capsules) and (17 sealed Bottles of Codeine Phosphate).
Both the accused were arrested and contraband substance was seized on the spot.

In this regard Case FIR No. 11/2022 U/S 8/21-29 NDPS Act was registered at PS Ganderbal and investigation has been taken up.

General public has applauded the efforts of Police for eliminating the menace of drugs from the society. All are also requested to co-operate with the Ganderbal Police so that Drug peddlers shall be dealt under the provisions of
Law.
