Two Tipper drivers held for illegal extraction of Sand and Bajri, and its transportation within the Ganderbal.
Ganderbal: 31st December, 2021: A stringent action has been taken by Ganderbal Police against (02) tripper drivers namely:
01. Mehraj ud din Guroo S/o Gh Mohd Guroo R/o Gangerhuma
02. Sajad Ahmad Rather S/o Nazir Ahmad Rather R/o Gangerhuma who were indulging in illegal extraction of minor minerals i.e Sand/Bajri and further unauthorisedly transporting it within the District.
A team headed by SHO Police Station Ganderbal seized (02) tippers bearing registration Nos:
1. JK 03A-0911
2. JK 04-9101
The trippers were loaded with illegally extracted sand and Bajri from Nullah Sindh, Ganderbal near Waheeedpora Gangerhuma.
In this connection case FIR No.232/2021 under sections 447, 379 IPC & 21 MMRD Act stands registered at Police Station Ganderbal and further investigation has been taken up.
