CEO Srinagar’s ‘Mission Teaching of Four Fundamental Operations of Math and BODMAS ‘in full swing in District Srinagar.
28th April 2023:Today Orientation programme on Basic concepts of Mathematics (BODMAS ) was held at GGHSS Amira kadal cluster
Orientation Programmes are held in the entire district under the guidance and supervision of Mr.Mohd.Shabir ,Chief Education officer Srinagar
Mr.Tariq Ahmad Pura , Chairman District Level Committe interacted with the Mathematics teaching faculty of all the feeding schools of GGHSS Amira kadal cluster.During the interactive session the latest pedagogy of Mathematics was discussed.Various activities were performed which included multiplication,even odd numbers etc.
Mr.Tariq Ahmad Pura stressed in imparting the kids with the necessary math skills at an early age.
Ms.Saima Tawqir,Incharge Cluster GGHSS Amira kadal also gave presentation on basic operation in Mathematics.
*Cluster team MPML Higher Secondary School headed by Ms. Shazina ,Senior lecturer Mathematics,Mr Sajad Ahmad Qazi, teacher mathematics and Mr Zubair Ahmad Bangi teacher physics visited HS kalashpora and MS Qalamdanpora.The team had an interactive session with mathematics teachers of both the schools along with the students.The teams gave valuable suggestions on how to motivate students and develop their own methods of performing operations on numbers in daily life (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).*
*Chief Education officer Srinagar has formed cluster level teams in the entire district to Overcome prevalent Arithmophobia seen among the students and improve the learning outcomes of Mathematics Subject.*
