Election of DFA’s/Zones of JKFA
DFA- Zone Sopore
In the ongoing process of conducting elections of DFA’s/Zones of J&K UT, the elections of DFA Zone Sopore was held today the 28th of Nov 2022 at 11:00Am at Dakbanglow Sopore. Six nominations were received, two each for the posts of President, Secretary & Treasurer of Zone Sopore.
52 Eligible Associate members participated in the process of election through secret ballot.
Shri Haji Imtiyaz Bhat defeated Shariefudin Mir for the post of President.
Shri Noor Mohammad Lone defeated Bilal Ahmad Sheikh for the post of Secretary
Shri Ghulam Mohammad Dar defeated Farooq Ahmad kana for the post of Treasurer.

The elections were monitored and supervised by Shri Wasim Aslam Chairman JKFA(Chairman, Election Committee JKFA) Prof. B.A Shah, Hony. General Secretary JKFA, Shri Mohammad Latif Bhat, Shri Rafiq Makhdoomi, Dr Towseef Ahmad, Shri MD. Amin, Shri Amjad Rizvi, Shri Shahid Khan , Shri Aslam Parvaiz Dar (Video Conference) members of election Committee.
This was the last election of DFA’s/Zones of Kashmir Province of J&K UT.
