Stray dogs kill 10 sheeps In Watlar Ganderbal
Ganderbal,CNS, 13- Jan: In an unfortunate incident, at least 10 sheep were attacked and killed by a pack of stray dogs in Watlar area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday evening.
Locals of the area said that stray dogs attacked a flock of sheep of Abdul Gani bhat resident of watlar area and killed atleast ten sheep, and injuring several others.
They alleged that from the past couple of weeks a group of stray dogs are roaming in the locality which were being ferried from the city and not only the livestock, several people mostly children were injured by them, resulting in panic created among the locals. Earlier this month, same kind of incident was reported from Gund village.
The people appealed to the district administration Ganderbal to take immediate steps to catch these dogs otherwise people will take action on their own.(CNS)
