NIFF Youth Football League concluded
Sports Council Football Academy emerged winner.
The ongoing NIFF Youth Football League 2021 came to a conclusion today at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium TRC Srinagar today.
The last match of the League was played between J&K Bank Academy and Sports Council Football Academy that ended at 1-1 draw scoreline, but the League title was taken away by Sports Council on the basis of points table.
This was the first of its kind of initiative taken in the history of football that any junior level has been organised in a professional manner giving much need opportunity to the junior players to excel. 42 matches were played in the league in which 24 academies hailing from Kashmir Division competed against each. The League was sponsored by New JK Roadways who not only sponsored the event but also awarded players with handsome cash awards on every match and closing ceremony.
Mr. Sarmad Hafeez, Commissioner Tourism Department was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Secretary Sports Council Ms. Nuzhat Gull, Joint Secretary Sports Council Mr. Bashir Ahmed, Mr. Maqbool Lone Owner New JK Roadways Div Sports Officer JKSC Mrs. Nuzhat Ara were also present at the occasion. The gala prize distribution ceremony took place soon after the match awards were given to Media Fraternity, Medical Personals, Sports Organisers besides players and officials by the Hon’ble Guests.
The event was organised by NIFF in collaboration with J&K Sports Council and sponsored by New JK Roadways, supported by The Kashmir Monitor, JK Stories, Color Curve, Ten Star Sports, Frisk Flim Production as Broadcasters, IY Impex as hydration parteners, Department of Youth Services & Sports and Department of Medical & Health J&K.
Pertinently, NIFF is all set to organise the same League at Jammu from 26th December 2021.
